The video 能を楽しむための基礎知識❖日本の伝統芸能【日本通tv】provided a detailed overview of the Nō (能) style of traditional Japanese theater. According to the video, Nō appeared in Japan in approximately 650 AD and originated from Chinese styles of drama. Since then, Nō has persisted alongside other traditional forms of theater, like Kabuki (歌舞伎), and its cultural significance to Japan has earned it legal protection under UNESCO. Specific storytelling guidelines and character archetypes and the frequent use of masks to communicate information about characters are some of the most distinguishing features of Nō. Besides the long history of the art and its complex characteristics, I enjoyed watching the footage of Nō performances found at the end of the video.   私のふゆやすみはとてもいそがしかったですが、たのしかったです。12月21日におとうとさんといっしょにノートルダム大学からシカゴというまちまでいきました。それから、12月22日に「O’Hare」というくうこうに行ってひこうきでシカゴからワシントン州のシアトルまで行きました。五時間ぐらいかかりました。それから、12月24日にかぞくといっしょにクリスマスのミサに行ってうたいました。 おとうとが二人いますから、おとうとといっしょにたのしいビデオゲームをします。そして、うちでかぞくといっしょにおいしいピザをつくってたくさんえいがを見ておとうとにしゅくだいをてつだいました。 1月1日にノートルダム大学のバンドといっしょに「Sugar Bowl」というフットボールのしあいでおんがくをします。ノートルダム大学のフットボールのチームはしあいがかちましたから、1月9日にフロリダ州のマイアミに行って「Orange Bowl」でバンドといっしょにおんがくをします。 よんでくれてありがとうございます。またあいましょう。
